Unfortunately Stratford Park pool is closed until the 29th January to undertake repairs to the suspended ceiling so we have moved the Sunday 25th session (07:30-9:00) to Archway pool.

The Club AGM is to be held on Monday 23rd February at 6.30 pm at the Britannia in Nailsworth. Everyone is welcome to attend. It would be great to see some new members on the committee next year and attached is a form for nominations. Existing memberships are due for renewal… Hello Everyone Please find attached the Club membership form for 2015. Please can you complete and return to Lorraine (or Mark or Jessica) before the end of January 2015 together with your membership fee of £45.00. If the Membership Form and Fees are not received by the end of January then it will be assumed you do not wish to renew and your ASA registration will cease.

Jessica swam to a new British and European record with the newly formed Sub160 swimming team in the ladies 4 x 200m freestyle relay (160 age-group) at the Short Course Nationals in Sheffield in October. Sandy Jones, Jessica Wooddisse, Karen Driver, Nicola Latty The team was formed to enable female swimmers who regularly compete at a national level to compete in national relay events where they are lacking a club based team.

Stroud Masters swimmers kicked off 2014 with a trip to Shrewsbury in Shropshire. A team of six travelled to compete at the Shrewsbury Masters New Year Gala which unlike the majority of competitions allows swimmers to only enter one event in each of the four strokes from a choice of three distances, and also an individual medley. Swimmers gain points for each event entered which are then added together and result in an overall age group placing.
